SNAPWARE® Expands Food Storage with Snap 'N Serve™, Holiday Items

CHICAGO — SNAPWARE® is expanding its line of food storage products with the introduction of its new Snap 'N Serve™ line,which will be featured here at the upcoming International Housewares Show. The company will also feature a new line of holiday storage items.

Snap 'N Serve™ is constructed from a crystal-clear polycarbonate, which is shatterproof and stain-resistant and can be used in the freezer, microwave and dishwasher. The line can also be used to serve food during mealtime.

The new line features SNAPWARE®'s innovative Snap-Lock Latch Technology that seals containers with one quick snap. When used in the microwave, one needs to simply open the latches, which act as vents, prior to reheating. This allows the cover to remain in place for splatter-free cooking.

In addition, ergonomically designed handles stay cool to the touch during the reheating or cooking process. To help ensure even heat distribution, special feet are integrated on the container's bottom to allow air to flow freely.

The Snap 'N Serve line is designed for easy storage as all smaller containers nest within the largest container and all lids are universal according to size (small, medium or large).

The new food storage container will be available in six rectangular sizes. They include large deep, 18 cup/144-ounce; large rectangular, 8.5 cup/68-ounce; medium deep, 8 cup/64-ounce; medium rectangular, 4 cup/32-ounce; small deep, 3 cup/24-ounce; and small rectangular, 1.5 cup/12-ounce.

SNAPWARE® is also offering three new holiday storage items; Snap 'N Stack Christmas Ornament Storage, Snap 'N Stack Christmas Lights Storage and Snap 'N Stack Tray System.

The Ornament Storage container features corrugated cardboard dividers that organize and secure delicate ornaments. The dividers are adjustable for 3-inch and 4-inch spaces and the unit holds up to 48 ornaments. It measures 13.1 inches wide, 12.9 inches long and 13.7 inches in height. Suggested retail price is under $15.

The Christmas Lights Storage item has three, two-sided plastic winders that hold up to 12 small or 6 medium light strands. The container measures 13.1 inches wide, 12.9 inches long and 13.7 inches in height, and also offers a suggested retail of under $15.

The Tray System consists of three polypropylene trays that stack and lock on top of one another and are adorned with holiday graphics. The latches have a lifetime guarantee and a top handle can withstand weight of up to 100 pounds.
